말루프 의자를 만들어야하는데...... I'm going to build a low back Maloof chair

영감을 주는 가구들이 있습니다.

아름다우면서도 힘찬 곡선으로 된 호두나무 재질의 말루프 의자는 참 특별한 느낌을 줍니다.

관심을 가졌던 샘 말루프에 대해 알아보려고 4,5년 전에 디비디와 의자 만들기에 대한 책을 샀습니다.

그리고 지난 봄에 말루프 의자만 재현하는 방법을 다룬 설명서 같은 아래의 책을 다시 샀고 조금씩 시작하고 있습니다. 템플릿을 만들고 그 템플릿을 재서 컴퓨터로 설계하려고 합니다.

이 책에는 디비디와 실측 크기의 부품도가 있고 작업 순서가 자세히 나와 있어 도움이 됩니다.

책과 디비디를 함께 봐야 이해하기 쉽습니다. 

Woodworkers have their own furniture that gives them inspiration.

Maloof's walnut chairs those have beautiful and strong curves are very special to me.

Walnut is so dark and as it looks rather heavy and antique.

I bought some books about chair design and making, dvd about Sam maloof.

The Sam maloof dvd doesn't give detailed information but it is story of him.

As soon as I purchased that dvd, I visited wood shop and stored walnut boards.

Those have been dried well.

I bought a another package for chair making. 'Build a sculptured low back chair with Charles brock' Book, dvd and full size patterns.

DVD and the book are helpful for me to plan the Maloof chair making.

Nowadays, I'm trying to make a 3D Sketchup file by measuring the templates.
